Fidelco Guide Dogs invites you to enter our 2024 Calendar Photo Contest! We are using GoGo Photo Contest to offer an interactive voting platform that allows you to submit photos to win a spot in the 2024 calendar and raise funds for Fidelco. All proceeds will support Fidelco's life-changing mission to partner people who are blind with German Shepherd guide dogs, providing all clients with increased independence to improve their lives and the world around them.
How It Works:
There are four categories for photo entries:
- Fidelco Guide Dogs - dogs in harness are preferred but not required. Retired guide dogs qualify for this category.
- Fidelco Puppies & Breed Dogs - pups in red vests are preferred but not required. Retired breed moms also qualify in this category.
- Fidelco Career Change Dogs
- Friends of Fidelco* - any dog, regardless of breed qualifies for this category. *Please note photos in this category do not qualify to be printed in the 2024 calendar.
Submissions will be opened at 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, July 15, 2023 through 6:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
Voting begins at 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, July 15, 2023 and ends at 6:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
Please post the highest resolution image and largest file size available. Horizontal images are preferred.
Prizes
The top four photos in each of following categories will be featured in the 2024 Fidelco calendar**:
Fidelco Guide Dogs, Fidelco Puppies & Breed Dogs, and Fidelco Career Change Dogs. These top four category winners will receive a copy of the 2024 Fidelco calendar.
The top photo in the
Friends of Fidelco category will receive a copy of the 2024 calendar and a Fidelco hoodie.
Winners are determined by number of votes. Votes cost $1 each, and there is no limit on how many times people can vote. The photos that receive the most votes in their category win their respective category.
The voting proceeds are all tax-deductible donations to Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation. All votes must be paid for online via the contest's secure checkout system; you will receive a tax receipt by email when your transaction is complete.
Spread the Word
Share the contest to friends, family, coworkers and anyone you can think of and ask them to support your entry by voting for your photo. You can link your entry in the voting gallery directly to your social media pages. Encourage people to vote by donation, and make sure your photo wins its category - all while supporting Fidelco Guide Dogs!

**To be considered for inclusion in the Fidelco calendar, a high-resolution horizontal digital image of the winning photo must be available to send upon the end of the contest. A high-resolution file is 8 megapixels or larger, some cell phone photos may not qualify. If the winning photos do not meet the formatting criteria, Fidelco will highlight the photo on another platform, or arrange to use a different photo of the same dog(s) that will work.
