How many photos can I enter?
You may submit one photo per category.
How do I determine what category to enter my photo in?
Enter your photo in the category that fits best when taken.
Example: photo of a pup in a red Fidelco vest, should be entered in the "Fidelco Pups" category, even if they are currently an active guide.
Retired breed & retired guide dogs can be entered in the breed and guide dog categories.
Can I submit photos of retired or deceased dogs?
Yes, photos of retired or deceased dogs are welcome.
Can I submit a collage or edited photos?
No collages and edited photos are not accepted. Photos should reflect the dogs and background they are in.
Can I submit photos of the Fidelco pups playing, or training?
Yes, but all images should show dogs behaving in an appropriate manner and avoid polarizing situations.
Example: images of a Fidelco pup on furniture will not be accepted.
Do I have to be the photographer of the photo I submitted?
No, but all contest participants are responsible for ensuring they have the right to submit photos. By submitting a photo, you affirm you are the photographer or have been given unrestricted use permission by the photographer.
Can I submit my photos via email and text like last year?
No, this online contest is the sole platform for photo submissions for consideration in the calendar contest.
Will runner up photos be used in the calendar?
Possibly! Fidelco Guide Dogs reserves the right to utilize photo submissions in any manner deemed appropriate beyond the scope of the calendar contest.
When can I submit photos?
Entries can be submitted starting 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Friday, July 15, 2022 until 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, August 15, 2022. Voting starts at 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, August 1, 2022, so take advantage of early submissions to collect votes early!
When can I vote?
Voting begins at 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, August 1, 2022 until 6:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
