Cutest Cat Photo Contest

Welcome to the FirstCap Gives Back Foundation’s 1st Annual Cutest Cat Contest. Who is going to be crowned the FirstCap Gives Back Pet Ambassador?

It’s easy to participate! Take a photo of your pet, submit it online with a $7 donation, then get your family and friends to vote with a donation for your cat’s adorable picture. Each vote is $1.00.

Once your cat is registered, stop into any First Capital FCU Branch between October 1 - 28, 2025 to pick up a Pet Bandanna as our THANK YOU gift for participating! Simply mention that your cat is in the contest at the teller line!

All proceeds from entry fees and votes will help further the mission of the FirstCap Gives Back Foundation by supporting local non–profit organizations and providing free financial education to youth and members of our community.

Cat Prizes

The top vote-getter will have their pet professionally painted on an 11x14 canvas by local pet artist, Jennifer Mvula– ($150 value).
*She can use your favorite photos to make your pet's portrait come to life!*

In addition, the top vote-getter will have their cat featured in an upcoming First Capital Federal Credit Union marketing promotion, in addition to a First Capital Federal Credit Union swag bag.

The second-place vote-getter will receive a $100 gift certificate from Hounds N Herbs, in addition to a First Capital Federal Credit Union swag bag.

The third-place vote getter will receive a cat-themed gift basket ($50 value) donated by Hounds N Herbs, in addition to a First Capital Federal Credit Union swag bag.

ALL registered cats will receive a complementary pet BANDANNA - stop into any First Capital FCU Branch to get yours between October 1 - 28, 2025!

Winners will be announced on October 29, 2025 - National Cat Day!

Rules

Entries:

Each entry is $7 per cat *includes the gift of a PET BANDANNA, stop into any Branch to receive after registering*
Limit of 1 cat per photo entry. A photo that shows 2 or more cats will not be accepted. People are not allowed in the photos, only your pet. Photos that do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win with no opportunity for a refund.
All photos must be uploaded. We cannot accept printed photos. We cannot accept any copyrighted photos.
The Submission Period starts at MIDNIGHT 12:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 and ends at NOON noon (12:00 PM Eastern Time) on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
Contest entry fees are tax deductible. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
Entering more than one photo of your pet does not increase the chances of winning. The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top vote-getters.
The same cat can only win once.
A cat must have a minimum of 50 votes in order to win.
All photos become the property of the FirstCap Gives Back Foundation. By submitting a photo, you acknowledge and give permission to the FirstCap Gives Back Foundation to use the name, story, and photo of the animal for marketing purposes.

Voting:

The Voting Period starts at MIDNIGHT 12:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 and ends at NOON noon (12:00 PM Eastern Time) on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
Each $1 donation counts as 1 (one) vote. You can place all votes and monetary donations on one entry or divide them among multiple entries.
All votes for photo submission will be tabulated and displayed online.
All donations from voting are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Contest payments online are through a secure site.
FirstCap Gives Back is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of GoGo Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding.
Winners will be announced on October 29, 2025 NATIONAL CAT DAY
