4th Annual FRTD Dog Calendar Contest

Welcome to our Dog Photo Calendar Fundraiser! First Responder Therapy Dogs is entirely dependent on your generosity to provide much needed emotional support to our courageous first responders. Your participation, donation, and support allow our teams to deploy all over the country to support Firefighters, Police Officers, Telecommunicators, and Emergency Personnel.

It's easy to participate! Submit your favorite photo of your dog, then get your family and friends to vote for your pet's picture.

Win a spot in the calendar! The photo with the most votes will be awarded the COVER of the calendar and an extra page highlight. The 2^nd place winner will be able to choose their desired month, and then the top 3rd – 13^th place photos with the most votes will be featured in our limited edition calendar, each representing one month, available for purchase. We will also have a "Judges Choice" randomly selected winner (must raise a minimum of $100 to be entered, winner will be randomly selected, and will be featured in a designated spot in this years calendar).

Entries that receive 1,000 or more votes (at the end of the contest) will receive one FREE copy of the 2026 FRTD Calendar.

ALL DOGS ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE!  Your dog would love to be a part of this experience, and we welcome all dogs living in the U.S. to participate in on the fun.

Reserve a Day to Honor Your Pet

Just want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.

Rules

ALL DOGS ARE WELCOME TO ENTER AND PARTICIPATE IN THIS CONTEST
Photos of your pet dogs are accepted.
Your pet does NOT have to be a therapy dog or live in the state of California to be eligible to enter the contest.
Photos may contain more than one dog.
Photos must be high-resolution (300 dpi or greater) and be in landscape (horizontal) format to be considered for a month spread in the calendar
Photos must only contain your domestic dog (no people or wildlife)
Photos must be full-color, no heavily filtered, edited or altered photos
Photos with professional photographer watermarks will not be eligible to be included in the calendar
Photos deemed offensive, indecent or obscene will be removed from the contest
Photos must receive at least 5 votes to be included in the 2026 calendar
All online photo entries must be submitted by 4:59:59 PM (Pacific Time) on Sunday, September 28, 2025.
No mail in photos will be accepted, photos must be submitted electronically.
All photos submitted become the property of First Responder Therapy Dogs
