A little about me...
Phoenix, an approximately 4.5 year old mix breed Labrador Retriever is a member of both the First Responder Therapy Dogs Team, as well as the Westchester County Department of Emergency Services located in Valhalla, NY. In both roles, he works along side his handler, Samantha Fejes. Many of Phoenix's days are spent interacting with the staff and students of the Westchester County Fire Training Center, encouraging conversations about First Responder mental health and wellness, and providing wellness visits to members of our Emergency Services community. He also supports First Responders through critical incident stress debriefings and diffusing's. When he is not working, Phoenix can often be found enjoying snuggles on the couch with his family. Some of Phoenix's favorite free time activities often include hanging out with his human sister, FinnLeigh, and/or his Chiweenie sister, Kindle. More of his pass-times also include chewing bones, playing fetch, and running laps in the yard with his doggie cousins. It should also be noted that Phoenix rarely hesitates to pass up a tasty treat!
