A little about me...
Merritt turned in her show dog haircut for a therapy dog vest in 2019. Merritt was the first team to be certified in the state of Arizona. Since then she has spent 3 years visiting the Detention Officers at the Tempe Police Department Jail, along with other departments such as dispatch, records and forensics. She visits twice a week, every week. Merritt was also one of the founding teams for Paws For Police (Chandler Police Department) and has been visiting their main station for 2+ years.

Merritt's therapy work doesn't stop there! She also visits autistic children and adults with developmental disabilities. She loves teaching kids, and adults, how to have control and gentleness when it comes to petting animals. She's always up for a game of fetch on visits too!

When Merritt isn't working, she loves playing fetch in the backyard or swimming in the pool!
