We adopted Bowie in November 2018 from First State. His shelter name at First State was Blackie and he came all the way from North Carolina after Hurricane Michael. He loves our evening trips to Broadkill Beach. When we first brought him to the Delaware beaches, he thought that deceased horseshoe crabs were the best toy ever, but with training he has learned to leave them (and other flotsam) be.
