A little about me...
This is Phelps. He was born a swimmer puppy, hence the name the rescue gave him. For most of his life as a puppy he couldn’t walk and was carried, but through the help of a wonderful foster mom who is part of a great rescue group he was given a chance to try. He worked hard to keep up with the normal puppies in the group & was often hopping behind them to play. When my mom & dad saw how hard I was trying they rescued me without knowing if I would ever walk normally. After I was rescued someone was nice enough to donate physical therapy sessions. I did a lot of hard work for 6 months on land and in the pool. Mom & dad kept working with me in the pool & now I love to swim! I’m also able to run and walk with all of my doggy friends. Miracles do happen & I’m living proof that every dog deserves a chance!! Please vote for me so that everyone who had a part in my success can see how far I’ve come!
