A little about me...
Its A Pittie Rescue was contacted by a woman who asked us after having the dog for 9 months to come pick it up or she's going to the pound. My husband and I drove down and when we got there our hearts just sank. She was not able to walk and was splayed out on a cold hard floor! We grabbed the dog and basically ran out of there. Matilda was born with swimmers syndrome which is easily corrected in the first months after birth and this woman chose to do nothing. She was skin and bones, loaded with worms, smelled horrible. She just completed her second surgery and we r hopeful that she will be in a wheelchair soon and get into physical therapy.
