Welcome to Fix Chicago's COVID-19 Foster Dog Photo Contest Fundraiser
This photo contest fundraiser is a fun, exciting and easy way to celebrate your foster dog while helping to raise funds and awareness for the rescue or shelter you are fostering for that needs help!
You win cool prizes, share memorable photos, and raise money for your shelter or rescue.
To qualify, your dog must be a foster from a Chicagoland shelter who is represented in our Dog FosterShare Project Group during COVID-19 (starting March 14th). If your rescue does not have representation of a foster in our group, and you want to enter to win, it’s not too late to have them join the group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/fostershare/. If you no longer have your foster dog because he/she has been adopted but you did foster during COVID, you can enter!
Please consider whether or not your dog meets these requirements before entering the photo contest fundraiser. Feel free to share with fosters in your networks and get them to join the Dog FosterShare Group so they can be eligible.
100% of all donations will be used to fund the winning rescue groups and shelters.
Entry, Voting & Grand Prizes
We will select one winner, determined by community votes, from photos entered in each of the following categories:
1. Silliest Foster Dog
2. Laziest Foster Dog
3. Best Buddies (Shows Foster Dog with Another Pet or Human at Home)
Entries will be accepted through June 19th, 2020.
Online voting will be open to the public from May 22nd through June 19th 2020. Votes are $1 each and, because this is a fundraiser, are unlimited. So, encourage your family and friends to vote for your submission!
Winners will receive the following:
1/3 of the total funds raised will be donated to the shelter from where you got your foster pup and Foster Parent Thank You Gift Pack that includes a customized pet portrait from Artishok Pet Portraits, a customized coffee mug with your dog's likeness from You Can Print, a Furever in My Heart Dog Memorial Keychain from Little Name Pieces, an All You Need is Love & a Dog sign from Petra's Custom Signs & Furnishings, and a customized hand-painted protective mask from Sassy Paws, Inc. The Gift Pack is valued at over $100.
