A little about me...
I’m an active volunteer at Chicago Animal Care and Control. I was there the day the lockdown began; CACC stopped all volunteer activities. Pauley was one of the dogs there: he was very sick with pneumonia and wasn’t eating or taking his meds. I knew he wouldn’t survive with CACC being short-staffed and without volunteers hand feeding him and getting his meds down. I decided to foster him then and there, and thankfully the great people at It’s a Pittie Rescue agreed! Pauley is all healthy now and this photo is him cuddling with our resident dog Polly...they are inseparable.💗
