Friends of PACC 2027 calendar contest

In partnership with C. Eaton Photography and Pima Air and Space Museum, Friends of Pima Animal Care Center is happy to announce its pet calendar for 2027. Proceeds from the sale of the calendar and photo contest will assist Friends of Pima Animal Care Center by supporting Pima Animal Care Center in enhancing its efforts to save the lives of pets in need.

We encourage you to submit your favorite photo of your pets, including all furred, feathered, and scaled pets, then ask your family, friends, and co-workers to vote for them. Please review the Contest Rules carefully for submission guidelines; those that do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win. Fees for photo entries and votes will help Friends of Pima Animal Care Center continue their efforts to support the pets of Pima Animal Care Center.

Prizes
The photo contest winners are the top 13 entrants that get the most votes.
Grand Prize:
  • The top winner will win the coveted cover photo for the 2027 calendar! And will receive a framed cover image for their wall and one free calendar.
2nd - 13th place winners
  • 2nd - 13th place winners will have their pet featured as a pet of the month. And receive a free calendar (winners can select their month by donating an extra $100)
The top 13 vote-getters will have their pet professionally photographed by Capturing EveryBuddy by C. Eaton Photography, LLC for the 2027 calendar.

Honor Wall + Digital Shrine
If you don't have a pet or want to play right now, consider memorializing a pet on the Friends of PACC Honor Wall + Digital Shrine. It's a project where you can honor pets—past and present. All donations go to support PACC's life-saving mission—to save animals in Pima County. The donation cost is $60 for an Honor Wall tag to hang on the physical wall at PACC or $60 for a photo and a few words about your pet on the Digital Shrine. $120 for both.
Prizes
Grand Prizes:
  • The photo contest winners are the top 13 entrants that get the most votes.
  • The top winner will win the coveted cover photo for the 2027 calendar, a framed cover image for their wall, and a free calendar.
  • 2nd-13th place winners will have their pet featured as Pet of the Month and receive one free calendar. These winners may choose their months by donating an extra $100 to fop after the winners are announced. The month choice will be allowed on a first-come basis.
  • Entries featuring two pets will share a month if they place among the top 13 vote-getters.
  • If multiple pets were entered separately, only the winning entry will be featured in the calendar.
  • The top 13 vote-getters will have their pet professionally photographed by Capturing EveryBuddy by C. Eaton Photography, LLC for the 2027 calendar. Photoshoots will be held on locations at Pima Air and Space Museum on August 31st and September 6th. Winners not able to make these dates will forfeit their spot in the calendar.
  • All winners will have the option to have a full portrait session with the opportunity to purchase products and images following their session if desired.

*****If your pet is one of the 13 to be photographed for the calendar, you must be able to bring your pet to Pima Air and Space Museum on either August 31st or September 6th. If you cannot commit to a photo session during those times or find yourself unable to travel to this location, you forfeit your winning, and the next top vote-getter will take your pet's spot in the calendar, with no exceptions.*****

Weekly Mini-Contest Prizes:

One pet each week that receives the highest number of new votes for that week will win the weekly mini-contest. The winner will receive the vote multiplier that corresponds to the week. For example, if you receive 100 new votes during the week as listed below and the week's multiplier is 2x, you will receive an extra 100 votes to count as 200 votes for that week.

  • Week 1 Jul 30 - Aug 5th 1.5x votes
  • Week 2 Aug 6 - Aug 12: 2x votes
  • Week 3 Aug 13 - Aug 19: 3x votes
  • Week 4 Aug 20 - Aug 27: 4x votes
Rules
Entries:
  • Must be 18 years of age to enter
  • You must be the legal owner of the pet that you submit for the Contest
  • All pets are welcome in the Contest. However, if you win, your pet must be able to be transported to the location of the session.
  • Pets that are no longer alive at the time of the photo session cannot be included in the calendar and can not be substituted for another pet. 
  • Each entry is $5
  • Limit of 2 pets per photo entry. People are not allowed in photos, only your pet. Photos that do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win with no opportunity for a refund.
  • Entry photos that include two pets will share a month if they place among the top 13 vote-getters.
  • You may enter multiple pets under multiple entries. However, only the winning entry will be featured in the calendar
  • All photos must be uploaded on the contest website; we cannot accept printed or emailed photos. We cannot accept any copyrighted or professional photos.
  • The Submissions Period starts at 8:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 and ends at 10:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, August 26, 2026No late entries will be accepted.
  • Contest entry fees are tax-deductible. The email acknowledgment of your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
  • Any photograph that includes content deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene, as determined by C. Eaton Photography, LLC, Friends of Pima Animal Care Center, or Pima County, will be removed from the Contest with no opportunity for a refund.
  • Entering more than one photo of your pet does not increase the chances of winning. The photo contest winners will be determined by the top 13 entries that receive the most votes. The same pet can only win once. Attempts to win two spots in the calendar by the same pet(s) will not be permitted.

Voting:
  • Each $1 counts as one (1) vote.
  • All donations from voting are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Contest payments online are through a secure site. DONATIONS/VOTES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
  • Contest votes are tax-deductible. The email acknowledgment of your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
  • All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of gogophotocontest.com, whose decisions are final and binding.
  • The Voting Period starts at 8:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 and ends at 10:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. No late votes will be accepted.

Calendar Photo Session:
  • The top 13 vote-getters will win a professional photo session by C. Eaton Photography, LLC. Photoshoots will be held on location at Pima Air and Space Museum on August 31st and September 6th. 
  • If you cannot commit to a photo session during those times or find yourself unable to travel to the location, you forfeit your winning, and the next top vote-getter will take your pet's spot in the calendar, no exceptions.
  • Winners must sign a photography agreement and property/model release before their session. Failure to sign these documents will result in forfeit of the prize, which will be awarded to the next highest voted entry.
  • This prize has no cash value and is non-transferable.
  • No shows and cancellations will result in forfeiture of the prize.
  • The top vote recipient will win the coveted cover photo for the 2027 calendar, a framed cover image, and 1-free calendar.
  • The following 12 recipients with the most votes will be eligible to have their pet featured as a pet of the month and 1-free calendar. The 12-month winners may choose their month by donating an additional $100 to Friends of PACC after the winners are announced. Month selections will be made on a first-come basis.
  • All winners have the option to select a full photo session with additional pets and people. Full session participants will revive a $300 credit good towards image collections and wall art purchases. The credit cannot be used towards single image purchases. 
  • The photographer, C. Eaton Photography, LLC, will choose the best image of the pets to be used in the calendar and which month that image will appear.

Weekly Mini-Contests:
  • The pet receiving the highest number of new votes each week will receive a vote multiplier towards that week's votes.
  • Weeks are counted as follows
    • Week 1 Jul 30 - Aug 5th 1.5x votes
    • Week 2 Aug 6 - Aug 12: 2x votes
    • Week 3 Aug 13 - Aug 19: 3x votes
    • Week 4 Aug 20 - Aug 27: 4x votes
  • In the event of a tie, all winners will receive the multiplier.
  • If there are no new votes for that week, no one will receive multiplier votes

The Fine Print:
  • By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you.
  • You agree that all photos submitted to the Contest may be used by Friends of PACC or C. Eaton Photography, LLC for marketing or promotional purposes
  • Calendars will be available to the general public for pre-sale starting July 30, 2026. The calendar price is $20
  • By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Friends of Pima Animal Care Center,  C. Eaton Photography, LLC, and Pima County and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers, agents, and sponsors (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
  • Sessions will be held outdoors in Tucson in September, it will be hot, please enter and plan accordingly. Pets must be on a leash and under the owner's control at all times. Any pet messes will be cleaned up immediately by the owners.
  • Pets must have all vaccinations. Animals too young to be fully vaccinated cannot be photographed for the calendar as all sessions will be held in a public outdoor area where disease mitigation will not be possible.
