Your Pet's Story or Bio
Joey's original name was Popeye. He was adopted from Res-Que as an 11-week old puppy after being saved along with his chihuahua half siblings Brutus and Olive Oyl in Stockton, CA. At the adoption site, he reached out and tapped his prospective caretaker on the arm to get her attention and say, "Hey, check ME out!" He is now a 7 year old Chiweenie and his favorite game is fetch. His favorite toys are a small Squeakair ball and a stuffed Lamb Chop squeaky lamb. He also loves bully sticks and Dingo bones. Joey does bark a lot and is protective of his caretaker. But he is overall a good boy - very affectionate and a VERY happy dog!
