Meet Taytay: Queen of the Couch and Couture

Taytay is a 5-year-old Chihuahua with a personality bigger than she is! Adopted from Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) in 2024, Taytay came from a severe hoarding case where she lived in overcrowded conditions with dozens of other animals. Despite the tough start, this tiny survivor radiates joy and sass.

When she arrived at PACC, Taytay had a severely fractured lower jaw. The incredible clinic team performed a partial jaw amputation to relieve her pain and give her a fresh start. Today, her charming, tongue-out smile is not only a result of that surgery—it’s part of what makes her unforgettable.

Now living her best life, Taytay shares her home with four doggy sisters and rules the pack with grace and a touch of diva energy. She’s incredibly nosy—nothing escapes her notice—and she insists on being involved in everything. Whether it’s a conversation, a snack, or a snuggle, Taytay is there.

A true fashionista, Taytay adores dressing up. In fact, she often drags her favorite outfits over to her humans to signal it’s time for a wardrobe change. Her confidence and flair make her a star wherever she goes.
