Literary Characters or Historical Figures Costume Contest Rules:
- No entry fee for participants. Participants can enter as many photos as they want but each photo will be voted on separately. Participants are not limited, and everyone is welcome to participate. Voters are welcome from across the US and around the world
- Photos are to be of people and/or pets; our photo may contain more than one family member. Be creative! We encourage you to use items around the house to create your costumes.
How to Enter
- Online entries only. There are two categories you can enter under, Literary Characters or Historical Figures. Please list your photo under the correct category and include the name(s) of the character or figure.
- We cannot accept any copyrighted or professional photos.
- Once entered, the photos become the property of For Hannah's Sake to be used at FHS discretion for advertising, website content etc.
- Entry period is May15, 2020 12:00 AM EST through May 30, 2020 9:00 PM EST.
- Online voting period is May15, 2020 12:00 AM EST through June 2, 2020 9:00 PM EST.
- Donations made in support of a photo are valued at one vote for every $1 donated. Donations of $10 or more are eligible for an official tax receipt, which will be mailed in June. There is no limit to the number of times a person can vote.
- The grand prize winner will be the photo with the most votes in each category at the end of the voting period.
- The winners will be notified by email, or phone, June 5, 2020. Arrangements will be made at that time for the winners to collect their prizes.
- In each category - First Place - $75 Your chosen favorite Independent Restaurant Gift Certificate.
- In each category - Second Place - $50 Your chosen favorite Independent Restaurant Gift Certificate
- In each category - Third Place - $25 Your chosen favorite Independent Restaurant Gift Certificate
- FHS reserves the right to remove any pictures for any reason i.e.: inappropriate content. Should this happen, we will notify you.
Winners will be announced on our website, and via Facebook, by June 5, 2020.
