First Place
First Place "2025 #SAVEFURSYTH Pet of the Year" will be awarded to the contestant with the most votes at the close of the contest.
The first-place winner receives:
- Recognition on the front cover and one month of choice inside the 2025 #SAVEFURSYTH Pet Calendar.
- Professional pet photo shoot with Desilu Photography at to be determined date, time and location. Photography prize includes in-studio session (to capture the calendar photo), one-hour on-location session (within 20 miles of Desilu Photography), a personal viewing session of the images and 10 print-size digital files for prints sized 8x10 or smaller. Two images from the photo shoot will be featured in the calendar.
- 18"x24" custom portrait of your pet donated by Heather L. Jones. Winner will receive artist contact information and scheduling details.
- #SAVEFURSYTH branded t-shirt.
- Four complimentary copies of the calendar.
- Tickets (2) to the Furr Ball Gala on September 23, 2024.
Second Place
Second Place will be awarded to the contestant with the most votes after the first-place winner.
The second-place winner receives:
- Recognition on the back cover and one month of choice inside the 2025 #SAVEFURSYTH Pet Calendar.
- Professional pet photo shoot with Desilu Photography at to be determined date, time and location. Photography package includes 30-minute in-studio session (to capture calendar photo) plus another background (of winner's choice) either inside the studio or outdoors at studio location, a personal viewing session immediately following photo session and 5 digital files sized to be printed 8x10 or smaller. Two images from the photo shoot will be featured in the calendar.
- #SAVEFURSYTH branded t-shirt.
- Three complimentary copies of the calendar.
Runner's Up (3rd to 13th Place)
The 11 contestants with the most votes after the second-place winner will be runners up (3rd to 13th place).
These winners receive:
- Featured pet for one month inside the 2025 #SAVEFURSYTH Pet Calendar (month to be selected by Forsyth Humane Society).
- Professional pet photo shoot with Desilu Photography at to be determined date and time. Includes 20-minute in-studio session (to capture calendar photo), a personal viewing session of images immediately following photo session, and 2 digital files sized to be printed 8x10 or smaller. One image from the photo shoot will be to be used inside the calendar.
- #SAVEFURSYTH branded t-shirt.
- Two complimentary copies of the calendar.
Top 100 Contestants
Contestants who finish in the Top 100 will be recognized inside the calendar in a special collage featuring their entry photo.
