So, we will award 4 buckles in total, and 8 ribbons in total.

Rules
Eligibility:
  • All photos must be taken by the entrant in 2025.
  • Submissions must be uploaded by the entrant or their parent/guardian (only if entrant is under 18).
  • Entrants do not need to reside in Fort Bend County or the USA.
Submission Guidelines:
  • Only digital submissions are accepted via https://www.gogophotocontest.com/fortbend4-h. Printed photos will not be accepted.
  • Submission opens at 12:00 AM (Central Time) on Thursday, January 1, 2026, and closes at  midnight (11:59:59 PM Central Time) on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
  • Late or incorrect submissions will be disqualified.
  • Each submission must be qualified based on the age of the entrant, regardless of the entrant’s photographic skill level.  The entrant age brackets are:
Judging and Awards:
  • Social voting for the photos will occur between 12:00 AM (Central Time) on Thursday, January 1, 2026 – midnight (11:59:59 PM Central Time) on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
  • **Winners will be announced via social media (Facebook) on February 03, 2026.
  • Winners do not need to be online, have a Facebook account, or be present at the Fort Bend County 4-H offices to win
  • Awards will be mailed (via USPS regular mail, or similar) to winners who cannot attend the physical in-person awards ceremony, limited to U.S. domestic shipping.
  • NOTE:  The cost of shipping prizes will be the responsibility of the winner.
  •  1st, 2nd, and 3rd place recognition will be given by age class (Junior, Intermediate, Senior, and Adult).  A total of 4 belt buckles and 8 ribbons will be awarded, therefore.
  • 1st place winners will receive a belt buckle.  2nd and 3rd place winners will receive ribbons.
Submission Rules:
  • Each photo can only be submitted to one age group. Duplicate submissions will result in disqualification from all age groups.
  • Photos containing obscene, vulgar, hateful, or illegal content, or violating 4-H’s family-friendly values, will be disqualified.
  • The organizers reserve the right to refuse or remove any inappropriate submissions. The organizers have final say in what is or is not appropriate content.
Judging Criteria:
  • Social voting will determine all winners.
  • Entrants and submitters may solicit social votes in any legal manner that they wish. Organizers will not support their vote solicitation.
  • Voting will be tallied by a third-party service, and results are final.
Photo Rights:
  • Fort Bend County 4-H has unlimited rights, in perpetuity, to use photos submitted for the promotion of 4-H programs and 4-H activities. 
  • A minimum of twelve photos will be selected by judges for inclusion in the annual Fort Bend County 4-H Calendar of Events.  Selected photos for calendar inclusion may or may not be winning photographs. Decision of the judges for this selection is final and non-negotiable.
    • Junior, ages 8 and under
    • Intermediate, ages 9 – 14
    • Senior, ages 15 – 17
    • Adults, ages 18+
