Rules

• Photos may only be submitted online. To submit photos online, click on the Participate tab above and follow the directions to upload a photograph of your pet.

• Photos must be in JPEG, .jpg format
• Photos MUST be in horizontal position for entry
• Photos must be high resolution, low resolution photos will not be considered for the calendar
• Photos may contain one or more pets
• Photos must not contain people.
• Photos must depict the animal in a humane environment
• Photos deemed inappropriate, indecent, or inhumane will be removed from the contest
• Photos must be taken by the entrant or have the permission of the photographer to submit their image.
• Photographs must be in color
• Multiple photos can be submitted
• If the pet featured in the photo is not owned by the entrant, the entrant must receive written permission from the pet owner to submit the pets image in the contest
• After entry the Fort McMurray Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has the right to use the entered photo in any and all media and promotional activities.
• The Fort McMurray Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals may edit, modify, publish, distribute, copy and or reproduce the photo.
• The Fort McMurray Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals reserves the right to remove any entry and content at its own discretion at any time.
• Contest entrants will not receive any compensation for their photos

• Votes are $1 each
• Votes are non-refundable
• Votes are not tax deductible
• Multiple votes may be submitted for the same photo
• Multiple votes may be submitted for multiple photos
• If you have submitted a photo you may vote for your own photo submission
• Voting ends November 30, 2020 at 9:00:00 pm MST.
• There may be a delay in votes appearing on the website.

• The 13 photos with the highest number of votes will be featured in the Fort McMurray Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Calendar. The photo with the most votes will be placed on the cover of the calendar.
• Winners will be announced via social media December 1, 2020.
• Winners will not receive any compensation of any kind for the use of their photo
• The Fort McMurray Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
• The Fort McMurray Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will choose which winning picture will be featured on which month of the calendar.

The Fort McMurray Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals reserves the right to remove any photo entry from the contest for any reason at any time.

The Fort McMurray Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals reserves the right to use any photo entries for any purpose at any time.
