Furry Tales Animal Rescue by submitting your favorite photo or voting for one of our entries to help us create our third annual Furry Tales Animal Rescue calendar. Any dog or cat is eligible to enter. All proceeds from this photo contest will go towards helping Furry Tales Animal Rescue achieve its mission of saving homeless or unwanted dogs and cats from unhealthy or dangerous situations.

Grand Prize
The dog or cat with the most votes wins the coveted Calendar Cover, a month of their choice and one free calendar along with some Furry Tales swag!
2nd Place
The dog or cat with the second most votes wins a month of their choice, one free calendar, and a Furry Tales T-shirt!
3rd Place
The dog or cat with the third most votes wins a month of their choice and a free calendar!
4th through 12th Place
The remaining top nine winners will receive a month of their choice. appear in collages throughout the rest of the year in the calendar.

Reserve a Day to Honor Your PetJust want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.

Photo Eligibility
- Photos must contain at least 1 dog/Cat to win the Grand Prize and to be featured as the "Dog/Cat of the Month"
- Photos may contain one or more dogs/cats
- Photos must be in color AND high resolution (3650 pixels x 2740 pixels is preferred for printing purposes)
- Photos must contain only dogs/cats (no people)
- Photos must be horizontal (landscape) format
- Photographs must either feature pets owned by the entrant, OR the entrant must have permission from the pet’s owner to submit their pet’s image, AND must own the copyright to the photograph.
Furry Tales Animal Rescue reserves the right to deny any photo submission for any reason.
Tips for Taking a "Calendar Worthy" Picture
- Get your dog or cat to look at the camera, preferably at eye level.
- Try to shoot in natural light instead of relying on your flash.
- Avoid heavily cluttered backgrounds; you want the focus to be your dog.
- Beware of shooting in direct sunlight as it increases shadows.
- If your dog is dark colored, take the photo in front of a lighter background.
- If your dog is light colored, take the photo in front of a darker background.
Entry Fee & Period
Each photo entry is a
$10 tax deductible donation to Furry Tales Animal Rescue.

We encourage multiple entries! Furry Tales Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer run, 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All donations are tax-deductible.Furry Tales Animal Rescue, established in January 2021, is a US 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based out of Blue Bell located in Montgomery County, Pa.
Our goal is to save the lives of homeless animals by pulling them out of unwanted homes, shelters or unhealthy situations and fostering them until they are able to find a good permanent home.
All of our animals are cared for by fosters who volunteer and donate their time and resources to giving these animals the best chance for a successful life.
We believe in transparency and therefore give all of our members and adopters full disclosure regarding the rescue and the animal(s) they are adopting.
