Contest Rules

Participants must be residents of B.C. Voters may reside outside of B.C.
Each vote counts as a :1.00 donation towards the society.
There are 13 prize positions (12 months plus cover) which will be awarded based on the most votes. The 1^st place winner will have their choice of Month, and each winner will have next choice. Winners must contact the Fraser Valley Humane Society within 48 hours of announcing the winners to provide their month choice.
Please submit photos of print quality. If the winner's photo is not print quality, they will be contacted for a replacement photo of their pet. If no suitable photo is provided, their position will be forfeited.
By submitting a photo, you give rights for the Fraser Valley Humane Society to use your pets' photo and story in future publications and promotions/marketing.
The Fraser Valley humane Society reserves the right to disqualify and entry if it is deemed inappropriate or otherwise unsuitable for this contest.

Image Requirements

Photos must be high quality and ready for print when submitted.
Photos must include at least 1 animal of any species, with reference to landscape format.
Please ensure that the photo is sharp and in good focus with a clean background.
Photos taken of pets should show evidence of ethical care, including pet identification (tattoos, collars with ID) and safe areas for our feline friends (such as catios or safe outdoor spaces.)
Preference is given to photos not containing humans, however, if your photo contains an individual, you must be able to provide written consent to use the photo.
