Welcome to GARNA's 7^th annual photo contest fundraiser! Through this fundraiser GARNA celebrates extraordinary images that capture the Upper Arkansas River Valley's magnificent, inspiring, and fluid natural beauty.

We so appreciate your participation since each entry and each vote is a donation to charity, as GARNA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization!

2021 is GARNA's 25^th Anniversary and we are proud of the work we've done throughout our storied history. Funds raised through this photo contest help ensure GARNA can continue inspiring a conservation ethic by providing educational opportunities and experiences so that those who live, work and play in the Upper Arkansas Valley are motivated to take care of the natural resources and leave a legacy of responsible use of the natural environment.

Since it is our 25^th Anniversary, we've chosen contest categories that will illuminate all the work we've done over the last quarter century!

• Landscape – Images that convey the sense of place that has inspired GARNA's mission for past 25 years.
• Wildlife/Birds – Images of wild creatures and the habitat that GARNA has worked to conserve since 1996.
• Wildflowers – Images of wildflowers, one of the biggest inspirations behind GARNA's education, stewardship and sustainability efforts.
• Sunrise/Sunset – Over the past 25 years, there have been 9,125 opportunities to capture images of both sunrises and sunsets. Show us what you've captured!
• Heritage - The GARNA-administered Chaffee County Heritage Area Advisory Board is a milestone in our 25 years of work. Submit images of sites that have been nominated for state or national historic register, or scenic viewsheds from the Collegiate Peaks Scenic and Historic Byway.

This year also features youth specific entry options for each category for those under 18 years old.

• Top photos MAY be featured in the 2022 GARNA calendar.
• Everyone who submits a photo(s) will receive discounts on photo products.
• There may be a photographer award ceremony in August.
