It's time for the GCCR Calendar!!! Calling all cavaliers, time to see who will grace the pages of the GCCR calendar! Start looking through all your adorable cavalier photos, as your precious pup can be voted into the top 12 calendar spots!!
Entering the Calendar Photo Contest
Participation is simple, just follow these steps:
- Click on the 'Enter Contest' button.
- Setup your account or login.
- Upload your photo and write a bio/description of your dog!
- Set your own personal fundraising goal - without your help GCCR couldn't rescue and care for homeless cavaliers!
- Share, Share, Share on social media or email and rally your friends, family and co-workers for votes!
The deadline for entering photos is noon (12:00 PM Central Time) on Monday, September 7, 2026. The Cavalier doesn't have to be a GCCR rescue to participate and multiple entries are accepted.
Contest entry is only $10 and each vote is $1. Every dollar makes a difference and is used on the cavaliers we rescue. Once you submit your photo……share, share, share! Ask your friends, family, co-workers to vote for your pet easily by sharing it on Facebook with your family and friends and encourage them to vote!

1 free 2027 GCCR calendar!

The 2nd – 12th vote-getters will receive a
feature spot inside the calendar as "Cavalier of the Month".
Additional Prizes
ALL photos submitted will be included in the calendar.
Calendar OrderingCalendar ordering will be available online from our printer in September. Your calendar(s) will be shipped directly to you.
The ordering link will be shared on our social media and website the week of Labor Day. Calendar pricing will start at $25 for a standard size calendar.

Reserve a Calendar DayFor a guaranteed spot in the calendar to recognize a special day/event (birthday, gotcha day) you can select that date! Find that adorable pup photo, select the special day and submit! Your pup's photo will appear on that date! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. Contest Dates
The Greater Chicago Cavalier Rescue Photo contest runs through noon (12:00 PM Central Time) on Monday, September 7, 2026.
Entering Photos
- Photo entries can be submitted online before noon (12:00 PM Central Time) on Monday, September 7, 2026.
- The e-mail acknowledgment to your online submission serves completely as your tax receipt.
- On your dog's public photo contest page, there is a "share" button that allows you to share your entry through Facebook and other social networking sites.
- Important: if your submission is low resolution, contains inappropriate content, or poor quality, contains stickers or other markings, your image may be removed or you may be asked for a better quality image.
Voting
- Votes for photo entries can be submitted until noon (12:00 PM Central Time) on Monday, September 7, 2026.
- All voting must be through the contest site to qualify for the contest.
- Share with family/friends to encourage voting for your pet's photo.
At Greater Chicago Cavalier Rescue, we work with animal control agencies, shelters, humane societies, fellow rescue organizations, and Cavalier owners to provide financial, physical, and emotional support to Cavaliers and families in need. None of this would be possible without the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of our donors and supporters.
