The contest is a meaningful way to celebrate your pet while supporting the pets of GHHS.Please join GHHS and our pet-loving community by showing off your
furry, feathered, or scaled pet while helping the shelter pets awaiting their forever homes!
The PPC "LIVE" Voting Party will be hosted

New Categories
This year we want to add a little more FUN. The winners of each of the following categories will receive a special recognition from GHHS!

Best Face Forward: Your pet's most memorable face
Playtime Pro: Pets featuring their favorite toysAll pets are welcome — the furry, feathered, or scaled! Whether your companion barks, meows, chirps, or slithers, this is their time to SHINE!
Rules- Entering a Photo
- Only PETS in photos!
- Your photo may contain more than one pet, just no humans.
- The photos will be used in print, which requires a higher resolution photo (minimum of 2,000 x 2,000 pixels or greater).
- Submit photos in a JPEG file format.
- Landscape orientation photos are best!
- We cannot accept poor quality photos, or photos with extensive Photoshop, text, or questionable content.
- Your pet does not have to be adopted from, GHHS to be eligible to enter the contest.
- You may enter as many of your pets as you would like - however, each pet can only be entered once, and the entry fee applies to each pet entered.
- Entries can be submitted online starting at 12:00 AM (Central Time) on Wednesday, October 1, 2025!
- Once entered, photos become the property of GHHS to be used for print and marketing purposes.
- The $15 entry fee will include your pet's first 15 votes!
Rules- Voting
- Public votes for photo entries can be submitted online beginning at 12:00 AM (Central Time) on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 through 7:00 PM (Central Time) on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
- Votes cannot be combined or moved from one entry to another.
- The "live" voting party will be held at Three Tails Resale on 9/30, 5PM-7PM. Snacks and beverages will be provided, along with a special shopping night at the store!
Winner will be announced at 7:01PM on Wednesday, 9/29, based on the votes received by 7PM!
* The ending time for the online voting portion will be solely determined by the host website’s server (it will automatically end). Keep in mind that your clock may differ from the clock that determines the ending time.
