Draw Your Favorite Good Mews Cat and win an ICE CREAM PARTY*!
Kids, we know you're probably missing visiting some of your favorite Good Mews kitties right now. We are sad that we had to close the shelter temporarily and we miss your smiling faces at our events, especially Reading To Cats! We can't wait to open our doors again and welcome you but, in the meantime, we have an awesome way for you to give your favorite Good Mews kitty some love and show them you're still thinking about them!
To bring some fun, we want you to draw your favorite Good Mews cat and submit it on this site. If your entry wins the most votes, YOU win an ice cream party!
HOW IT WORKS:- You must be 6-13 years of age
- There is a $5 cost to enter and this includes your first five votes
- You must submit a hand-drawn picture of your favorite Good Mews cat. This can either be a current or past resident of Good Mews.
- No digital creations are allowed - your drawing must be created by hand with pen, pencil, crayon, or paint
- You must submit a photo or scan of your drawing during the eligible submission period of April 6, 2020 and May 10, 2020.
- Make sure you share this contest with ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY! The more votes you get, the better your chance of winning!
- Once the Voting Period ends at 11:59:59 EST on May 17, 2020, the entrant whose submission has the most votes will be notified
- The winner receives a one-hour ice cream party for them and up to nine of their friends to be held at the shelter at a mutually agreeable day and time
- All donations collected, minus processing fees, will go directly to the care of the cats and kittens of Good Mews
- Only votes submitted on this platform will count. While we are thrilled to accept any donations by mail or other methods, we are unable to allocate any donations to votes for this contest that are not submitted via this voting platform.

*PRIZE CHANGE: Due to prolonged social distancing requirements and the specific protocols advised by legal counsel and at the decision of the Board of Directors, the prize will be a $75 gift card to Bruster's.
