Enter your pet in the Best In Show Pet Photo Contest for a chance to be crowned Best In Show and have a portrait of your pet painted larger than life on our shelter wall! Does your pet have some wonderful qualities? All pets, no matter where they come from or what they look like, are welcomed to enter. Enter your pet in one or more of the following categories for a $10 donation per entry, then have your friends and family vote for your pet!
Categories include:- Cutest Kitty
- Most Adorable Dog
- Best Buddies
- Best Smile
- Sweetest Senior
Proceeds from the photos contest and event benefit the homeless animals at Great Plains SPCA, one of the largest animal shelters in the Kansas City area, serving nearly 6,800 animals annually.
Prizes
- The top pet with the most votes in each category will get a spot on the huge mural outside of the shelter for an entire year!
- The pet with the most votes overall will be featured front and center on our larger than life size mural as Best In Show for 2025!
- Runners up in each category will receive a special paw trophy!
- Category winners will be invited to attend the exclusive in-person event.
Employees of Great Plains SPCA directly involved in the contest rules and management are not permitted to enter the photo contest.
