Goldie was one of three feral kittens born under our neighbors porch one winter. We trapped the kittens but couldn’t get the mama. We had them spayed/neutered and their ears tipped because we weren’t sure if we would take them in. Goldie was the shyest of the three but, with lots of patience much effort, we were able to socialize them. We found good homes for Goldie’s brother and sister but kept Goldie for ourselves. She is my shadow and loves to sit on my lap in the evening (after I put a blanket over it). She is my baby!
