My name is Jacob, and I’m an 11-year-old pug/boxer-poxer- with a wild past and a cozy present. I was adopted from the St. Joseph Animal Shelter back when I was a young, chaotic ball of fur. People still call me “crazy,” but I prefer “enthusiastic.” These days, I’ve traded zoomies for naps and become a true connoisseur of beds—your bed, the couch, a pile of laundry—I’ve tested them all. Time has taken most of my sight, but not my spirit. I still bark like I can see everything and chase birds I can’t actually find. Life’s good when you’re loved, fed, and slightly spoiled. I may bump into walls now and then, but my heart knows exactly where home is. I’ve got a few more gray hairs and slower steps, but the tail still wags just as hard. After all, age is just a number—crazy is forever.
