Izzy, the Cairn Terrier, is short for Isolde, which we chose to honor our previous dog, Trystan the Corgi. (Famous opera Trystan & Isolde). My wife, Laurie, chose Izzy from a small group brought to KC by the Joplin-area breeder. Now, Izzy is my reminder of Laurie, who passed in 2022. My best friend.
