Tigerlily appeared to me very suddenly as I huffed and puffed riding my bicycle up a hill out in the vacant countryside. Sitting proper and demure, she looked up at me, her head slightly crooked. She was so very tiny, and she couldn't have been more than 6 weeks old. Shocked at her presence and appearance, I halted my effort, laying my bike in the grass. I introduced myself to her and asked her what she was doing out here by herself. She was alone, and wanted me to help her catch bugs to eat. I offered to do more for her; I scooped her up, and she reluctantly went on the rest of my bike ride. She ended up becoming mine, got the best care she needed, and the rest is history! She is now a joyous, healthy, happy and hilarious little character who couldn't be loving life more!
