The Guelph Humane Society (GHS) has been providing care for animals in need since 1893. Each year we serve approximately 3,000 homeless, stray, injured, orphaned, abandoned, and abused animals throughout Guelph and Wellington County. We provide animal sheltering, surrender services, adoption, and pet identification services to these communities. GHS helped to reunite over 300 pets with their family last year alone. All cats and dogs that come into our care are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and receive any medical treatment needed before finding their forever home. We are not government funded so we could not do this without the generous donations from our community.
