Carney was born to a feral cat on our property. When she was three weeks old, her mother passed away, leaving 3 orphaned orange kittens. We bottle-fed Carney and her two siblings. All three kittens were adopted, but Carney's adoption fell through so we adopted her. Hobbes was also a feral kitten that was not thriving outside with her colony, so we adopted her as well. Carney became Hobbes' surrogate mother and they now live happily together with our other fur babies, Chaos and George.
