CONTEST RULES
Enter your favourite photo of your pet to win one of 13 coveted spots in the 2017 CFHS 60
th Anniversary Calendar (13 month calendar – Jan 2017 – Jan 2018). One calendar spot will be available for each province & territory.
This contest is open to anyone over the age of 18. You may enter one or more animals into this contest. We encourage you to share your entry and encourage others to vote, vote, vote!
Note that this contest is geared towards Canadian entrants and voters. In the past there have been issues processing USD donations. We apologize for this limitation, but we are unable to correct it.
Entrants must be residents of Canada and living in the province or territory for which they submit their entry/entries.
CONTEST ENTRY
You must submit a photo of your animal(s) and include:
- Name of animal
- Your name
- Your email
- Your city and province
- A paragraph that tells voters about your animal
Digital photos are recommended. Photos must be clear, of good quality and high resolution
300 dpi or higher in PNG or JPG format — and no greater than 5MB. Photos must be in Landscape (not Portrait). Sorry, we cannot accept hard copies or photos of hard copies.
All submitted photos will be shared on the CFHS pages on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram! All entries must be the original work of the entrant. You must own the copyright to the photograph. All entries must be of an animal in your care.
CONTEST & VOTING FEES
Each entry is free.
The submissions period starts on May 13th, 2016 at 8:00 AM EST and ends on September 9th, 2016 at 11:00 PM EST.
The voting period starts on May 13th, 2016 at 8:00 AM EST and ends on September 9th, 2016 at 11:00 PM EST.
Each $1 donation counts as one (1) vote. We encourage you to email the contest link to family and friends and encourage them to vote for your favourite contestant's photo. Votes may be cast during the voting period only. All donations for votes are non-refundable and not tax deductible (there was a vote in exchange for the donation). Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Contest payments online are through a secure site.
Participants and voters will be entitled to a tax receipt for donations accumulating in $20 or more before fees. Example: if you donation $20, you will received a tax receipt for $16.45.
