My beagle’s story or bio
Sammy spent the first two and a half years of life confined in a bio-medical research and testing facility. Despite this beginning, he is sweet, energetic, trusting (of me only), curious and ridiculously affectionate. It took him a full six months to bark (a hideous sound!) and more than a year to go out into our fenced yard alone. And here we are -- no hunting photo for the calendar, no perky expression, no perfectly posed picture of the Box Boy wearing a cute outfit. Just this photo that perfectly expresses my first dream for Sammy - to fully embrace the comfort of snuggling with his human on a couch, close to a window he can look out anytime. A good life at last, thanks to HLBR!!
