Your Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Roxy from National Mill Dog Rescue from Colorado in January 2022. Roxy spent 8 yrs in a cage with no socialization. These dogs do not receive vet care. Roxy had to have all of her teeth extracted but two. When we got her she had such severe ear infection which made her walk crooked. Spent 4 months driving everyday to Cincinnati to have her ears treated. She is on the mends. You have to have time and patience with these dogs. She has made leaps and bounds. We are now after 7 months able to feed her cheese out of our hand. We can touch her without her flinching. Roxy just had her 9th birthday in June celebrating with doggie cupcake. Roxy is living her best life ever. We just love her.
