Keeper is thought to have been a stray for the first 6 months of his life. He found his way to a home in Kentucky where there were other dogs. Instead of caring for him, the homeowner brought him to his vet and asked to have him euthanized. The vet refused and found a rescue that would take him in. He lived with the best foster momma, who showed him what it is like to be loved and cared for the first time in his short life. The minute I saw him I fell in love and thought, he's a Keeper! He is a wonderful dog who loves everyone, including my cats and has been my best friend for the past 2 years. I can't imagine my life without him.
