George Ham-man Tacke was 9.5 years old when he came into rescue. His owner listed him on Craigslist after falling ill. Senior pugs have a soft spot in my heart after loosing my first pug lady. Knowing this, my friend, Sara, found him and sent the link to me. Game over!

I was unsure if the owner would surrender to rescue. However, after a week of waiting and feeling hopeless, she reached out to me again! I picked him up that night and the rest is history!

George is living up his retirement, wearing bow ties daily, and exercise has him feeling sassier than ever! Total “Mr. January” material.
