• The contest is open to individuals / families who have adopted a rescue (shelter) dog. The dogs entered into the contest are not required to be HavaHeart Rescue alumni.
• Dog photos and entry write-ups must be non-commercial, personal photos / entries please. The contest is for entertainment only and not to promote any company or organization. Photos may be removed without warning if they do not meet the standards of the contest.
• Photos should not feature people, dog's only.
• Photos of multiple animals are acceptable.
• Photos of adopted rescue dogs with non-rescue animal siblings are acceptable.
• Must be 18 or older to enter.

HavaHeart Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit located in the Springfield, Missouri, metro area. We are completely volunteer staffed. We do not have a facility. Each HavaHeart pup is placed in a loving foster home until they find their furever home. HavaHeart has foster homes throughout the region as well as in other select locations throughout the continental United States.

Our mission is to provide for the rescue, care, rehabilitation, and adoption of homeless, abused, endangered, discarded, or neglected dogs (including but not limited to Havanese), and to educate the general public on the importance of spaying/neutering, and the humane treatment of companion animals.
