Dog's Story or Bio
Finley was rescued in 2018 by HavaHeart rescue from a puppy mill. He spent his first 7 years of his life in a small cage used to breed over and over again. When he was found, he had stage 4 periodontal disease that caused a terrible infection and lead to sepsis (infection in the blood), double ear infections, his kneecaps luxate from being in the sitting position in his crate his whole life, and his feet were stained brown from standing in his feces. Finley has never felt grass before, never used his legs to walk, never heard the sound of birds chirping, and never felt love. All of that changed when he was rescued in March of 2018. He had all of his teeth removed, his ears were treated for many weeks, and his fur started to become thicker and whiter. It took many months of slow pets and constant treats, but Finley is now the happiest and healthiest dog. He can go on long walks, loves rolling in the grass, and his favorite area is “HIS” huge queen bed. Finley is the words most caring and sweetest dog!
