Teenie & Weenie are Pointer- mix sisters that were in an over-crowded shelter in Southern Illinois and were in danger of being put to sleep as 8 month old puppies. I couldn't let them die so scrambled to get them safe and onto a big transport to the Chicago area the next day. They came to me after I had said good-bye to 3 seniors and was getting ready to let another senior friend go. I call them the spark plugs that helped keep me going when I was so over-whelmed with dog rescue anxiety and sadness. As my Setter Gavin was missing his Pointer friends- they also helped him come out of his sadness. I call them the Squirrel Girls as this is how they look while looking for critters in the yard. They are so loving, affectionate and cuddly and truly are my little bundles of joy.
