Gavin was rescued from an over- crowded shelter in Benton, Il at 5 months old--dumped by his breeder because he was deaf. Gavin also seemed to be showing additional neurological issues and had a serious liver issue. He went from foster home to foster home for months until he came to me where I had to force feed him for nearly 2 months to keep him going. I refused to give up on him. Finally after he started on tetracycline and some good liver detox, he started to come out of his autistic fog. The months that followed, Gavin started to interact with my other dogs and soon started to point tweetie birds in my yard. Many months after that I put an AKC Junior Hunter title on him as he was brilliant in the field. Eight years later, he is still my pride and joy. Vote for Gavin!
