Every entrant will have the chance to be one of our featured monthly models. Our president & CEO will choose from all entrants and select the 2021 Pets in Paradise President's Award. The winner will receive the following:
- Monthly feature in the 2021 Pets in Paradise Calendar
- Photography session with a professional photographer and three (3) digital photos - All photography sessions must be completed in July 2020. Photo shoots are only available on the island of Oʻahu. If you are unavailable in July, the next winner will be awarded the photo shoot.
- Feature in the Hawaiian Humane Society Newsletter
- Crazy Shirts™ Tote Bag filled with (2) Exclusive Crazy Shirts Adopt-a-Cat T-Shirts, (1) Sharka Plush – A $110 Value

People's Choice Award
The photo entrant with the most votes at the close of the contest will receive the following:
- Monthly feature in the 2021 Pets in Paradise Calendar

The Hawaiian Humane Society opened it's doors in 1837. Its mission centers on the dedication to promoting the human-animal bond and the humane treatment of all animals. Since 1942, our current shelter located in the heart of Mōʻiliʻili has become a community hub for animal lovers featuring programs and services focused on: finding homes for animals through adoption, rescuing the abused, engaging volunteers, fighting for better laws and caring for more than 22,000 animals a year.
We are Oʻahu's only open-admissions shelter, open every day of the year. We believe there is a place where all animals are welcome.
We are not affiliated with any other island humane society, Humane Society of the US, or American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. We help local animals with donations – gifts made by friends like you.
