Ugly Sweater Holiday Photo Contest Period. Starts at 8:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 and ends at midnight (11:59:59 PM Eastern Time) on Friday, December 30, 2022. All entries must be received during the "Contest Period" to be eligible to win any prizes.
Eligibility. To enter the contest your animal photo must comply with the photo guidelines and a minimum $5 entry fee is required. Entries are limited to pets of all ages and any species that can wear holiday sweaters. Contest entry must be done electronically.
Photo Submission Guidelines: The photo must be entrant's original creation and owned one hundred percent (100%) by the entrant. Commercial reproduced photographs from professionals will not be accepted without proper release.
- Digital photo must be in color
- No humans allowed in photos
- Photo Submission must noy contain any human.
- The Photo Submission must NOT contain material; 1) that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene hateful, tortious, and/or defamatory; 2) that violates, misappropriates, or infringes upon any law or regulation or the rights of any third party, including any copyright, trademark, or any rights of publicity or privacy, or any other intellectual property or proprietary rights; 3) that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; 4) that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any jurisdiction where Submission is created. Any photos can be removed from the Howliday photo contest if deemed inappropriate by Hearts to Pawz Project volunteers.
Donations: Each dollar donated represents one vote. Due to processing costs, a minimum $5 donation is required to enter your pet in the Howliday photo contest. All proceeds from this contest will go directly to the Hearts to Pawz Project to help fund the medical needs of the animals at the Westfield Animal Shelter.
You can vote as many times as you like for your favorite photo. The donation is $1 per vote minimum of $5.00 or 5 votes per transaction.
Selection and Notification of Winner. Winners are determined by the number of votes received during the contest period from 8:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 and ends at midnight (11:59:59 PM Eastern Time) on Friday, December 30, 2022. All winners will be notified via e-mail. To claim the prize, the winner(s) should respond to email with all necessary information requested electronically, no later than 7 days after the contest has ended otherwise, the prize will be revoked.
General Release. By entering the Contest, you release Hearts to Pawz Project and it's contest sponsors from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest or delivery, mis-delivery, acceptance, possession, or use of or inability to use any Prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory. Hearts to Pawz Project any participating sponsors, and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, volunteers, employees and agencies (collectively, the "Released Parties") will not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (c) any Contest disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control Hearts to Pawz Project or by non-authorized human intervention; or (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest.
