Tell voters something fun or interesting about the dog in the photo's journey as a rescue dog.
After experiencing "empty nest syndrome" for a few years, I decided to fill some of my newly found spare time volunteering at Helping Hounds. Being a lifelong obsessive dog lover with two rescue pups of my own, it was a perfect match for me. My husband was all for it, but often told me "don't bring any dogs home"!

After 9 months of controlling my many urges to adopt, I saw Tucker (fka Winston) was soon heading to NY from TX. I started FB messaging with his foster mom in TX, and knew he had to join our family. He arrived on a transport in July of 2016 and it was love at first sight. Once I held all 6 lbs of him and looked into his cute brown eyes, there was no turning back. I somehow managed to get my husband to come and meet him with along with our two pups and the deal was sealed!

Needless to say, he was meant to be with us. Tucker has spent the last year making us laugh every day with his adorable personality. He even has his two older fur sisters acting like puppies again!
