Every journey begins with a single step down a path that doesn’t always go the direction we set out to take but when everything lines up the journey connects a once discarded dog to the family of their dreams.   We know that home is not a place – it is a feeling.   That feeling of being safe, loved and wanted.  We know that a home with a dog laughs a little louder, lives a little better and smiles a little brighter.  

These are the stories we want to tell in our 2018 calendar – Send us a photo along with your story of the journey of your rescue dog into your home and the joy they have added.    

Then invite your friends and family to vote for your photo! The 12 photos with the most votes will be featured in our 2018 calendar! Every photo receiving 250 or more votes will receive a free calendar and if your photo generates 400 or more votes, we will also send you a Helping Hounds Sweatshirt.

The contest will run from July 15^th to September 15th and is open to anyone who has been the hero to a homeless dog by adoption. 

Guarantee your companion will be featured in the calendar.  Your companion’s photo will appear on the day of your choice when submitted with a $20 donation.  It is first come, first served and once the date is has been reserved it will no longer be available.
