Augustus is our 40 pound 1 year old rescue and he's our new big little brother to our 9 year old 8 pound little girl Gidget. They are hilarious together and very special members of our family. Augustus was found as a stray in a Texas rural area. He was found in pretty bad shape after being shot multiple times by a BB gun. He had to have the pellets removed and was given medical care. He was scared and timid with barely enough self confidence to stand straight after weeks. He luckily made his way to Helping Hounds in NY. From there the rest is history. He is such a strong and handsome boy within our loving family. We couldn't be happier and more grateful to have him 💜. He stands tall knowing he will forever be safe, spoiled, and loved like he deserves to be.
