Are you geared up for your chance to have your pet featured in our calendar? Then get your cameras ready and snap an adorable photo of your pet and enter our contest! Make sure to add a fun description to let people know why they should vote to get your pet featured in the calendar.

All fees for photo entries and votes will provide support for the animals and programs of the Hiawatha Animal Humane Society.

For the best chance to win, be sure to spread the word about your pet's entry in the contest. Ask your family and friends to vote for them; EARLY and OFTEN. You can use the sharing buttons that appear on your pet's photo page to share your photo entry with your Facebook friends. And you can email links to family and friends to encourage voting for your pet's photo

• Entry fee is $10 per photo. Participants can enter as many photos as they want but each photo has a separate entry fee.
• Photos are to be of pets only, people are not allowed in the photo. All animals must be depicted in a humane and dignified manner.
• Your photo may contain more than one pet.
• We cannot accept any copyrighted photos.
• Once entered, the photos become the property of the Hiawatha Animal Humane Society (HAHS) to be used at HAHS's discretion.
• Each vote is $1. Minimum to vote is $5. There is no limit to the number of times a person can vote.
• The grand prize winner will be the photo with the most votes at the end of the voting period.
• The Hiawatha Animal Humane Society reserves the right to remove any pictures for any reason. Should this happen, we will notify you and refund your entry fee if desired.
• Entry period is August 19, 2019 12:00 AM CST through September 16, 2019 10:00 PM CST.
• Voting period is August 19, 2019 12:00 AM CST through September 16, 2019 10:00 PM CST.
• The winners will be posted on the voting site by September 17, 2019. Arrangements will be made at that time for the winners to collect their prizes.
