The Houston SPCA invites you to enter our 2018 Photo Calendar Contest. This is not your typical photography contest! We're excited to offer an online, interactive voting platform that not only lets you be actively involved in your photo submission's chance of winning a spot in the Houston SPCA's 2018 calendar, but also helps raise funds for the Houston SPCA's mission as well.
Your support helps the Houston SPCA sustain our mission, which is to promote commitment to and respect for all animals and free them from suffering, abuse and exploitation. Our programs and services impact more than 50,000 animals each year, including: cats and dogs, horses and farm animals, small mammals, and native wildlife.
Give thousands of orphaned, abused and neglected animals a second chance at life!A Note About Hurricane Harvey
Over 1,000,000 people and their pets have been displaced by Hurricane Harvey. Our highly-trained swift-water rescue teams spent eight days rescuing animals from flooded homes. We are also working with our partners to address the tremendous impact on horses and farm animals throughout the region. Since Hurricane Harvey struck on August 26, the Houston SPCA has cared for over 2,300 dogs, cats horses, farm animals and native wildlife.
The Houston SPCA is also serving as the main distribution hub for pet supplies for individuals, shelters, rescues and other organizations needing assistance and has distributed over 40 tons of supplies to those in need. We are here for the animals and people of our region, just as we have been since 1924.
