My cousin rescued Jennyanydots, or just Jenny, from a panhandler who was using her to solicit sympathy and donations. My cousin learned that the man was always getting cats from somewhere — probably catnapping them — and a sympathetic cop gave the kitten to my cousin. We were looking to adopt a kitten, and the rest is history. Jenny has been with us for 12 years now, and we can’t imagine life without her.
