Dixie did not have a name when she was boat rescued from a house in Beaumont. She survived 6 years of neglect in a dog hoarder's house, along with 70 other dogs. Though her skin was bald and scaly from fleas and she suffered from a URI, that did not prevent her from giving birth to one healthy puppy at the SPCA. She is a calm, caring, loving mother to 2 week old Wynn.
