Meet Kelly — our 7-year-old husky with a heart as big as her paws.

Kelly came into our lives as a rescue at just 9 months old, and from day one, she’s shown us what unconditional love truly looks like. She may be a “big sweet giant,” but her gentle nature and loving spirit are what make her unforgettable.

What makes Kelly truly special isn’t just her playful personality or her (very enthusiastic) love for food , it’s how she gives back. Every weekend, Kelly visits Ivy Park, a memory care facility, where she brings comfort, joy, and connection to residents. You can see it instantly; smiles, laughter, and moments of recognition sparked by her presence. She has a way of making people feel seen and loved, without saying a word.

When she’s not spreading joy, Kelly is living her best life with her crew. She has a wide circle of furry friends and spends her days running, playing, and socializing at the park with Shore Doggs out of Long Beach. It’s her happy place, well, aside from mealtime. :-)

Kelly should win because she represents everything we hope for in a dog: resilience, kindness, joy, and a genuine love for people and other dogs. She’s not just our dog , she’s a companion, a comfort, and a source of happiness for everyone lucky enough to meet her.

Simply put, Kelly makes the world a better place ... one wag at a time.
